Pirate's Cove - Help Page.

The Pirate's Cove is the chatroom system for LinkPirate, where pirates come to relax, bury their treasure and hang out with other scalawags. Improvements and fixes are occurring on a day to day basis so it's still fragile. NO PLUNDERING OR PILLAGING!

Otherwise, enjoy yourself! Pull up a chair on the beach or cabana patio and get to know the other Pirates. Grab something to drink from the fully stocked pool bar.

Enjoy the clear, sunny weather, with just enough of a cooling breeze to make it perfect. Gentle waves lap at the shore of pure white sand in front of you as tall coconut palms sway gently to the island music coming from the band in the main cabana. You can even smell a mouthwatering lunch being prepared on the grill. The water's a strikingly clear turquoise and you can find conch and abalone shells, as well as little schools of multicolored fish, urchins and starfish. Every now and then a mild-mannered, silver leopard shark can be seen patrolling the shallows looking for tasty clams.

There are some caves in the rocks about a mile up the beach perhaps worth exploring. There's a legend of treasure hidden somewhere in them, but some folks who go up there haven't come back! The cove is protected by a coral reef, through which only a narrow passage allows those that are familiar with the area to navigate safely. Divers occasionally bring up an emeralds or gold doubloons from the many shipwrecks out there.
